Straight answers

Our standard callout is $198 including GST, which covers getting to you and gaining entry for a typical lockout. Other jobs add the work on top — for example rekeying is $264 for the callout plus the first lock. You get a clear price before we start, and the price we quote is the price you pay.

Our phones are answered around the clock, so call any time. On-the-tools hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. If you're locked out late at night and it can't wait, we'll point you to a trusted 24-hour colleague rather than leave you stranded — and if it can wait, we'll book you the first slot that suits.

We're based in Ascot and service Brisbane metro. During business hours we can often be with you within the hour — when you call we'll give you an honest ETA, not a sales pitch.

Almost never. Lockouts are usually opened non-destructively in a few minutes. In the rare worst case a cylinder has to be drilled, we replace it on the spot and key it to your existing key wherever possible.

If the locks are in good nick and you just need to control who has keys — after moving house, losing a key, or a tenancy change — rekeying is faster and cheaper. If a lock is worn, sticking or rusted, replacement is the better spend. We'll tell you straight which one you actually need.
